Events & workshops
GTI takes training to where gospel workers already serve — through mobile workshops, teaching days, conferences and online briefings. Invite us, or express interest in what is coming.
Where we are
GTI is in its founding year. There is nothing to register for just yet — but the plan is set, and your invitation can shape where we begin.
Our mobile Equip the Church workshops begin in January 2027, and the six-month Classroom Ministry Training follows in 2028. As soon as a date and venue are confirmed, it appears here with everything you need to take part.
GTI is registered in South Sudan and begins building partnerships with local churches.
Five mobile workshops per group across ten months, in Juba and Rokon — and wherever a partner church invites us.
A six-month, full-time programme at our Juba training centre, with bursaries for students in need.
Graduates gather for refresher teaching, a lending library and commissioning.
What we run
Every GTI event is built on the same conviction: the Church is strengthened when its own workers handle God’s Word faithfully. Choose the one that fits your setting.

Teaching days, alumni gatherings and refresher conferences that keep graduates growing in the Word.

Translation support, a teaching visit, or a gathering we have not thought of yet — tell us what you have in mind.
Invite GTI
Tell us about your church, school or denomination and the kind of training you have in mind. There is no cost to ask, and no obligation.
It reaches the GTI team directly — no call centre, no automated reply.
We will ask anything we need to understand your setting and your people.
Together we plan the timing, the place and any translation your group needs.
Materials, teaching team and travel are arranged, and the date appears on this page.
GTI does not want anyone to miss training because of cost. Workshops are funded by the ministry and its partners, so asking never places a burden on your church.
Fields marked are required. We will only use your details to respond to this request.
Questions
A local church, a denomination, a Bible college or a Christian organisation. GTI first builds a partnership with the local church leadership, and participants are usually selected through them so the training strengthens the church that is already there.
Asking costs nothing. GTI prayerfully raises funds to cover the cost of workshops, materials, meals and translation, because pastors and lay leaders often serve without a salary. Where a church is able to share the cost, we gladly work that out together — but cost is never a reason to say no.
Equip the Church groups are usually around twenty people, so that everyone can take part and be known. Larger gatherings — a teaching day or a conference — work well too. Tell us roughly how many you expect and we will shape the programme around them.
Yes. GTI’s mobile workshops are designed to go to where gospel workers already serve — including rural and hard-to-reach settings — and we seek translators so that language is never a barrier to learning.
That is completely normal — send the form anyway and choose “Not sure yet” for timing. An expression of interest helps GTI plan where the first workshops go, and you are under no obligation when a date is proposed.
Whether you host a workshop, pray for the ministry or give towards a bursary, you are part of equipping faithful teachers across South Sudan.
