GTI does not want anyone to miss training because of cost. Because pastors, clergy and lay people serving in the local church often receive no salary or stipend, GTI prayerfully raises funds to cover the cost of the planned workshops and seminars, and seeks bursaries for Classroom Ministry Training students so that cost is never a hindrance.
ETC is for those already serving in the local church — pastors, clergy and laypeople. GTI first builds a partnership with the local church, and participants are selected through the leadership of the partner church. A high level of commitment and full attendance is expected.
For Equip the Church, no. ETC is designed for both those proficient in English and those who are not, and GTI seeks translators in rural settings so that everyone benefits. Classroom Ministry Training is taught in English, so students need to speak, understand and write English well.
No. GTI is an independent, non-denominational organisation that welcomes people from different denominations who have a desire to grow and ground themselves in understanding the Bible, and those who sense a calling into full-time or part-time ministry.
